Giving Back

Giving back to your community through volunteer groups, nonprofit organizations, charity or other means does so much to help those in need and contribute to the common good. You can participate in giving back in ways such as giving money or giving your time. No matter how you do it, giving back to your community will touch many people’s lives. The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc., West Palm Beach Chapter believes it is important to give back and to be involved in the community.  The giving is helping others, but also gaining an understanding about each other and a sense of human compassion.

One of our signature giving program is the Annual Holiday Luncheon. NCBW members of the West Palm Beach Chapter adopt needy families in the community to provide gifts for every member of the selected families during a Christmas luncheon. These mothers have demonstrated the drive and determination to make a difference in their lives and the lives of their children. They were referred for this special giving and luncheon through partnerships and alliances with other community based organizations.

We are inspired and humbled by the opportunity to help one family at a time and so grateful to every member who joins us to make that opportunity a reality.
